So our first real project is going to be doing caricatures of anyone in the department. I know a lot of us aren't especially ept in doing such drawings, but it should be fun to see how we all do. Keep it nice!

Too bad you can't see every element of this photo. The dark corners hide some of the mistakes I have made in my career, which in my opinion, have attributed more to my success than the things I have done right. Instead of hiding or excluding them, I threw them in as a part of who I am.

Welcome to the new Creative Services Art Blog! I got this idea from a friend of mine whose company does this, so I thought it would be fun to emulate them and get some creative juices flowing around here. Once a month we will pick a theme and all do a picture based on that theme. This can be done in any medium you would like. It will be a great way for us to get to know each others styles and talents, so we know who to go to when we need certain things, as well as just be fun to do.
