Okay, so it doesn't have the detail I wanted, but if I didn't post it, it'd never get done.  What's more lucky than finding a piece of gold?  So it's not totally done--shut up.

Ok so this may not totally be with the irish theme, but I figured hey, they are mythical creatures, and I might as well put them up in case I don't finish my other picture in time. No worries. I'll get it done eventually!

We're Back!

That's right boys and girls! The Blog is back! And to give everyone plenty of time we have decided to do the theme "Luck O' the Irish". Have some fun with it!

So I know it took me long enough but I think it was worth the wait. I definitely got in a little over my head with this one, but I had a lot of fun doing it, and how could I not with such sexy subject (wow, aliteration) matter. Now that wonderful moment in time will be immortalized on the art blog. Thanks to all those who participated!

I've proven that I suck at drawing faces. So I thought I'd try to stick at a medium that I'm not so bad at.
